Welcome back to Multicore. This is Instruction Set for the week of Monday, July 15th.

Monday was a national holiday in Japan — Ocean Day, what else — and I’m now writing this from Beijing, which has presented some logistical challenges in putting this issue together. Let’s just say I regret not bringing along my cellular iPad Pro.

This is my first trip to mainland China in about five years, though, so it’s good to be back. I should have some cool stuff to share soon.
