Welcome back to Multicore. This is Instruction Set for the week of Monday, May 20th.

I skipped last week’s edition because I spent the previous week in Hawaii more or less disconnected from tech news (although not from product testing; more on that soon). Tonight I’m flying out to another event you’ll hear about later in the week.

News keeps moving. While I was out, Apple updated the iPad Pro (OLED; still an iPad) and Nintendo stopped pretending the Switch 2 doesn’t exist (it’ll be revealed before the end of March). Let’s catch up on the past week.
